How do I switch from a shorter race to a longer race?
Runners may change their registration to a longer race. Participants will need to pay difference in registration cost plust a $5 fee. Price for longer race will be based on cost on day of transfer.
Participants who register for the half marathon or 5K before Feb. 1st are guaranteed a race shirt. Half marathon registrants receive a tech shirt. 5K runners receive a cotton shirt. We will provide shirts to half marathon and 5K participants who register after this time on a first come first serve basis during packet pickup and at race day registration. Fun Run participants do not receive event shirts. Any remaining event shirts will be available for sale after the awards ceremony.
Credit cards are accepted for online registrations. Race day registrations, packet pickup, and mailed in registrations are payable with cash or checks.
This course has fully functional rest rooms along the course. (Yay, no porta potties!) We will have signs posted on the course to identify the rest room facilities. There is also a large rest room facility near the start/finish line. There are also shower facilities available in the restrooms near the finish line.
Race day registration and bib pickup
If the race does not sell out, registration will be available on race morning between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:30 am. Race shirt availability and sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registrants. Race finisher medals can not be guaranteed for race day entrants. Cash or check only will be accepted for registration fees at packet pickup and on race day.
Our current policy is that registration fees are non-refundable. If inclement weather renders the course impassable on race day we will provide a backup date or free registration for a future event.
Refund policy for military deployment
Refunds will be given to individuals who have deployment orders that will prevent them from participating in the race. The following are the requirements for a refund.

There is ample parking on property. After entering Summit Point Motorsport Parks main gate you will find signs and volunteers to guide you to the parking areas.
All of our events are walker friendly. We ask those of you who are going to be walking the full course to start in the back. Race etiquette would suggest that walkers keep the inside of the track open for runners to pass.
Emergency Medical Service
Fully manned ambulances will be stationed on the course.
